Every year, 46,500+ Washingtonians receive a cancer diagnosis — one person every 11 minutes. The support they need exists. We make sure they find it — in their county, in their language, at no cost.
Cancer is the leading cause of death in Washington State. For thousands of those patients — especially those in underserved communities — a diagnosis comes with an overwhelming silence. Not because support doesn't exist, but because it is scattered, hard to find, and nearly impossible to navigate alone during one of the most frightening moments of a person's life.
Golden Heart Cancer Support was founded to answer that silence. Our WA Cancer Connect Hub is a statewide digital platform that centralizes existing resources — connecting patients, caregivers, and families to the services they need to survive and heal.
And our work doesn't stop at diagnosis. The WACC Hub also serves as a living resource for cancer prevention education and awareness — equipping Washington communities with the knowledge to reduce their risk before cancer ever begins. Because a stronger, more informed community is the most powerful response we have.
Research from Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society shows that where you live — your neighborhood, your county, your proximity to care — directly predicts how late your cancer will be found. In Washington State, this gap is measurable and deadly.

The WA Cancer Connect Hub is Washington's first statewide platform connecting patients to financial aid, transportation, housing, mental health, integrative care, and more — verified, searchable, and available in 7 languages.
We're building Washington's strongest cancer support network — and we need partners. Whether you're a nonprofit, hospital system, business, or community funder, your partnership expands our reach and saves lives across every county in Washington State.
